A Newswire reported that the United States Food and Drug Administration has approved the use of the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, (diclofenac), for the prevention of dental inflammation in children and adolescents.
The new drug, diclofenac oral suspension (DOS), is manufactured by the GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in the United States.
DOS is indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, ankylosing spondylitis, and juvenile dysentery.
